Since 2016, I have coordinated over 60 theatre productions at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, contributing as a designer on many of them. My work emphasises collaboration, process-led creation, and strong visual storytelling. I also teach Devised Theatre and Design at the IAB, guiding students in the development of original performances and projects. In addition, I have directed workshops focused on children’s theatre, leading to touring productions performed in schools across the Barcelona region.
Education and Training
I was born in Florence, Italy, and began my artistic journey training as an actress with the regional theatre company Centro di Teatro Internazionale, which followed the Russian school tradition. While studying, I completed a BA in Scenography (Maestro in Scenografia) in Florence. I went on to earn an MA in Theatre Sciences and Techniques (Scienze e Tecniche del Teatro) from the University of Architecture in Venice.
I later moved to London, where I attended the renowned Motley Theatre Design Course. I have worked in major theatres across Italy, in both opera and drama.
